New York City is re-opening—but many businesses and community organizations remain closed. Food insecurity remains high. Safe and accessible social activities are hard to come by and many seniors still live in isolation. Your support is needed to ensure that all New Yorkers share in our city's recovery.
New Yorkers step up in times of uncertainty. Volunteers have distributed 44 million meals, made 79,000 calls to isolated New Yorkers, and served more than 261,000 hours since March 2020. Our work continues as long as it's needed.
