Thank you for showing up for our city and for your patience as we roll out the new system powering our website. Some volunteers and Team Leaders have experienced issues as part of this upgrade, and we’re working quickly to make sure you can continue making an impact. We’ll continue sharing updates here so you can see progress in real time.

What We've Fixed
  • Registrations: Your current projects should appear correctly. If something looks off, email info@newyorkcares.org.
  • Chat: Our chat feature is now fully operational.
  • Attendance submission: Team leaders can now take and submit attendance without issues. If you encounter any problems with these features, please reach out to your Leadership Coordinator.
What We're Still Working On
  • Project hours: Your hours may take time to fully reflect your activity as tens of thousands of volunteer records sync. Please hold off on reporting discrepancies until early April.
  • Registrations: Your current projects should appear correctly, but some users are experiencing issues, including:
    • De-registering from one session removes you from multiple sessions
    • Signing up for a session doesn’t save or appear
    • Duplicate registrations appear for the same session
  • Project search & schedule: We’re fixing how project times display and addressing select search issues.
  • Impact Reporting: Impact reporting is temporarily unavailable—please hold onto this information until further notice. Still experiencing issues? Contact your Leadership Coordinator.
