Status Updates

Thank you for showing up for our city and for your patience as we roll out the new system powering our website. Some volunteers and Team Leaders have experienced issues as part of this upgrade, and we’re working quickly to make sure you can continue making an impact. We’ll continue sharing updates here so you can see progress in real time.

What We've Fixed
  • Project Search: You are now able to see if projects are full via the Project Search page
  • My Projects: You are able to click "Load More" to see additional projects listed under Today/Upcoming, Recent, and Archived
  • Impact Reporting: Team Leaders can now submit impact as normal! If you have any impact from more than 2 weeks ago or encounter any submission issues, please reach out to your Leadership Coordinator.
  • Attendance Submission: Team Leaders can see and edit attendance for sessions listed in the Project Schedule feature. If you encounter any problems with this, please reach out to your Leadership Coordinator.
  • Volunteer History: Your volunteer history is up to date via your My Account page. Project Total and Hour summaries for Year-To-Date and All Time will be available for viewing soon. If you notice any discrepancies, email info@newyorkcares.org.
  • Project Schedule & Timing: Project timelines now display correct start times.
  • Registrations: Your current projects should appear correctly. If something looks off, email info@newyorkcares.org.
  • Project Chat: Now visible via Project Details page. Team Leaders receive a confirmation email when pinning a message in the Project Chat.
What We're Still Working On
  • Registrations: De-registration issues are largely resolved. Please email info@newyorkcares.org if you continue to experience any issues.
  • Team Leader Opportunities: Currently shows name of location rather than address on the opportunity overview card. For now, please reach out to your Leadership Coordinator for address information.
