Workplace Giving

Many city, state, federal and private companies provide workplace giving campaigns and payroll deductions to support their employees’ philanthropy. Check out a few of your workplace giving options below. 

 

Payroll Deductions

  • Give effortlessly to New York Cares by setting up a tax-deductible, one-time or ongoing payroll deduction with your employer. The amount of your choosing will be deducted from your paycheck and sent to New York Cares providing funding for the 1,600+ volunteer projects New York Cares manages every month.
  • State and Local Government Employees – Support New York Cares via the State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA # 51-00576) or via the New York City Gives Campaign (CMC # 11233). 

 

Workplace Giving Campaigns

  • Ask your employer to feature New York Cares as a charity of choice during the annual giving campaign season. Contact us at devo@newyorkcares.org to start a partnership.
  • United Way – Designate your pledge to New York Cares through United Way’s Donor Choice program. Select New York Cares (# 011487) as your donor option.
