Meets pressing community needs by mobilizing caring New Yorkers in volunteer service.

Teen Group Volunteering

Take service to a new level by volunteering alongside friends, neighbors, your youth group, or service club.

Teens increase their leadership skills and community engagement when they volunteer for teen group service project.

Volunteering with siblings, friends from school, or your fellow peers is a great way to come face-to-face with issues affecting your community.

Teen Group Friendly projects invite three or more youth (ages 14+) to easily sign up together under one Trained Teen Group Leader (age 21+). This trained Teen Group Leader learns how to manage his/her group and signs up for any teen group friendly designated projects that have available space.

From socializing with seniors to helping kids with their homework or serving meals to the homeless – teen groups give back in a variety of engaging and team-based activities. Browse our upcoming projects to see all that you can do.

Please note: If all of your group members are 18 or older check out Group Volunteering for adults.
