You don’t have to quit your day job to make a difference in your community. At New York Cares, we believe that regular people who care deeply about their city can spark real change.

With over 1,600 service opportunities a month, our volunteers see the needs of their communities and take action. They mentor students, serve meals in soup kitchens, clean up parks, help the homeless get back on their feet, and dozens of other selfless acts. And they do this all in their spare time.

Whether you’re looking for a one-time project or weekly opportunities, you’re in the right place.
