Volunteer with Big Reuse

Big Reuse, partnered with the New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY), is working closely with residents in Brooklyn Community Board 10 and Queens Community Board 13 from April through June 2019 to increase participation in DSNY’s organics collection program.

They are currently seeking volunteers to assist with door-to-door canvassing to educate residents about the City of New York's Department of Sanitation's organics outreach program, street tree care (cleaning up street trees and applying compost to the soil), and compost give back events in Queens and Brooklyn. They are mostly working in the Queens Community Board 13 and the Brooklyn Community Board 10.
