Virtual Activities with the Climate Museum

Virtual Activities with the Climate Museum

The Climate Museum's mission is to inspire action on the climate crisis with programming across the arts and sciences that deepens understanding, builds connections, and advances just solutions.

WHAT: Take part in a week of virtual activities in support of a new non-profit museum shaping dialogue and action on the climate crisis — the Climate Museum! Activities will range from a 10-minute conversation with a friend about climate change and the Museum to a 15-minute climate art project to a 90-minute interactive conversation with the Museum’s founder, Miranda Massie, and national experts, Covid’s Lessons for Climate and Inequality: from Sacrifice Zones to Justice.

You will be emailed a daily briefing and asked to participate in as many projects as your schedule allows. At the end of each day, you will be asked to log your volunteer efforts. Just like their in-person exhibitions and events, activities will cover topics like climate education, climate conversation starters, dispelling climate myths, and appreciating and contributing to climate art.

The program is geared towards individual adults, community groups, and businesses, but is open to participants of all ages.

WHEN: Register by Friday, September 18, 2020

WHERE: All Virtual
