Urban Farming with East New York Farms - Pink Houses Community Farm

Urban Farming with East New York Farms - Pink Houses Community Farm

Help farmers grow fresh local produce for community members in need!

New York Cares' Farm to Pantry program connects volunteers to local farms to food pantries in needful communities, striving to increase access to fresh produce throughout NYC.

At East New York Farm, volunteers will work directly with professional farmers to assist with all farming aspects, from composting and weeding, to harvesting and processing crops to building benches and raised beds. Volunteers will also assist with produce distribution to community members in need, in partnership with CAMBA.

All helpers will also have the opportunity to learn from farm staff both informally and through occasional workshops.
