PS 230 K serves approximately 1,300 K-5th grade students in the Kensington area of Brooklyn. In order to serve its population, it is divided into two buildings. The students are culturally and ethnically diverse, with many students being of Asian, Hispanic, or Arabic descent. All of its students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
