Technicians at Uptown Stories

Uptown Stories inspires kids to discover and develop their inner voices in a diverse community of writers. Based in upper Manhattan, they offer small-group writing workshops for children ages eight to fifteen, led by master teachers and professional authors. To ensure their workshops are accessible to all children, tuition is pay-what-you-can. Uptown Stories creates an exciting, challenging, and supportive community in which young authors thrive.

They are currently seeking volunteers to volunteer to perform a variety of administrative and marketing tasks in-person. Volunteers will be posting calls for volunteers online, social media, revising documents, proofreading and editing, corresponding with writers, creating marketing materials, research.

REQUIREMENTS:
Internet savvy, FB, Twitter, IG, InDesign, WordPress.
