Because of the heat advisory for this weekend issued by NYC Emergency Management and the Health Department, select programming that may pose a risk to our volunteers and clients has been cancelled. Projects with partners who provide critical services will take place, but we encourage our volunteers to follow safety tips including drinking plenty of water and staying inside/out of the sun when possible. Ever wondered what it would be like to swim with giants? American Museum of Natural History is embarking on a new project that'll let you experience just that! This will be a free, for-all-ages, in-gallery VR installation in the Hall of Ocean Life. Volunteers will be assisting visitors with Samsung Gear VR headsets, helping with set-up and breakdown, line management
Must be comfortable standing for duration of shift and be comfortable working with smart phones.
