Support Bridge Challenge with Save the Children

Save the Children is a child's rights based organization working around the world to give children a healthy start in life, provide them a basic education, and to keep them protected from harm. They are the first to respond and the last to leave during a crisis or natural disaster, addressing the unique needs of children. Their goal is to give children the future they deserve, and do whatever it takes to save and protect them.
Bridge Challenge, a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to bridge the gap for girls in need. The walk raises awareness and funds to address the unique needs of girls around the world, such as keeping them in school, and protecting them from things like child marriage.

The walk begins and ends in Cadman Plaza Park on Saturday, October 12. The walk begins at 10:00 a.m., and volunteers are needed to serve as Course Marshals, Greeters and Foot Traffic Control, and serve at various tents providing refreshments, t-shirts, etc. Potential Commitment: One time commitment Starting: 10-12-2019
