Prepare hot meals for a same day meal service for families. Do prep work (you'll need to be able to handle sharp knives and wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes as you'll be on your feet the whole time. This busy soup kitchen, which serves many families with children, is one of the few hunger programs in this area of the Bronx.

PATHHSEO @ Caldwell Temple combats food insecurity and poverty through their soup kitchen, pantry, and street outreach programs. They also provide a variety of other resources and services. New York Cares partners with this organization and others to address food insecurity in all five boroughs. www.pathhseo.org
