Staff the Annual Harlem Chat and Chew

Harlem Advocates for Seniors is a senior-led organization with one of its goals to unify seniors, service providers and community leaders in support of issues and concerns affecting seniors living the Village of Harlem. In addition, provide activities for social engagement and an opportunity to enjoy a quality of life and stay at home and age in place.

WHAT: The Annual Harlem Chat and Chew event is an all-day senior activity that includes music, dance, entertainment, food, vendors, games, and raffles. Volunteers will serve food, serve tables, help with registration, set up and break down the event, decorate, engage with community seniors at arts and craft and game tables and complete other tasks as needed to ensure a successful event.

WHERE: Howard Bennet Park, located on 135th St between Lenox Ave and 5th Ave in Harlem

WHEN: 05-13-2020, from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
