St George Day at Staten Island

St George Day: to celebrate peaceful problem solving, community connects, local artists, Earth Day and dragons.

They are currently seeking volunteers to help setting up and breaking down. Setting up includes: cleaning, moving chairs and tables, hanging informational signs, hanging festive decorations, assisting with setting up DIY and art activities. During the festival, volunteers will also help with managing their info table, craft activities, trash and recycling needs, and helping to carry large dragon puppets in the dragon parade. Breaking down includes undoing the setup activities mentioned above.

Sunday, April 28, the festival runs from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Set-up time: 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
Breakdown time: 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m.
