Sort, Bag, Unload and More At a Busy Food Pantry

Founded in 2015, UA3 is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to make positive impact and lasting improvement in the underserved aspects of their communities through youth empowerment, education, promotion of health and mental health, to support creation of socio-economic opportunities, and to channel needed resources for the betterment of those in need. UA3 strives to accomplish their goals through partnership with public and private sectors, educational institutions and community social and service organizations.

Since the onset of COVID-19, UA3 stepped up to support the healthcare/hospital/first responders with gourmet meals and PPEs while they helped the affected patients. UA3 continued to collaborate and network with over 120 CBOs, elected officials and hundreds of volunteers throughout the 5 boroughs in supporting seniors, people with disabilities, unemployed and other disadvantaged members with fresh produces, food and other essentials to combat the pandemic.

WHAT: Volunteers will be sorting, bagging, unloading, loading, registration, monitoring pantry line and discarding cardboard boxes, etc at Community First Food Pantry. PPEs, lunch, and refreshment will be provided. Covid vaccine preferred.

WHEN: Pantry operation hours are Monday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

UA3's focus is on supporting disadvantaged students, adults and nonprofits through digital technology, mental health advocacy services and providing funding to community organizations. UA3 has also recently opened up a food pantry to assist their community during COVID-19.
