Sort and Organize Pantry Delivery at New York Common Pantry

Assist the New York Common Pantry unload and organize the delivery of thousands of pounds of produce and dry goods to be distributed to the families served at the pantry. The delivery will be large, and volunteers should expect to be lifting boxes, bags of fruits, vegetables, and may be using hand trucks outdoors in all weather conditions. This is a busy, fast moving project that will leave you tired but with a smile on your face.
Volunteers should be:
• comfortable lifting up to 30lbs.
• able to load and manage hand trucks
• prepared to go outside in all types of weather
• work as part of a team
