Join us each Wednesday afternoon at Food Bank for NYC's West Harlem Kitchen as we work directly with families in need to provide vital client-choice food support.

New York Cares volunteers will work directly with FBNYC staff and clients to provide custom-made pantry packages based on family size and personal tastes and preference.

Be a part of this exciting new collaboration between the nation's largest anti-hunger agency and New York's best and brightest volunteer support provider!

Dress Code:
Closed toed shoes & shirts with sleeves are required for all projects.
Long pants come highly recommended; no short-shorts allowed.

The Food Bank for New York City was founded in 1980 and located in the Financial District. It works to end food poverty throughout the five boroughs, and mission is to end hunger in New York City by organizing food, information, and support for community survival and dignity. It serves two million New Yorkers through a community kitchen, food access, food and nutrition services, and income policy programs.
