Serve Lunch at Stanley Isaacs Senior Center

Have fun serving lunch and smiles to the seniors of a community center. Volunteers will be on their feet for the entire duration of the project preparing plates, serving trays seniors, and assisting with kitchen clean up.

Founded in 1964, Stanley Isaacs Neighborhood Center is a multiservice agency serving people of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and abilities overcome poverty and isolation. The aim is to promote social and physical well-being, self-reliance, and dignity throughout every stage of life. Stanley Isaacs Center operates two community centers – a Senior Center and a Youth Center – in Yorkville, Manhattan. Both centers are located within Isaacs Houses/Holmes Towers, a NYCHA development located three blocks from East Harlem.
