Serve Hot Meals

Join us at GMHC! Spend time and serve hundreds of people impacted by HIV/AIDS in a daily meal service at GMHC. Serve food, escort guests to their seats, hand out trays and utensils, and bus tables. Spend some time and share a meal with clients. Finish up by cleaning the dining area and kitchen. You’ll be on your feet for 3.5 hours, lifting 10-20 lbs, and interacting directly with clients.

Located in the Fashion District, Gay Men’s Health Crisis is a nonprofit, volunteer-supported organization committed to national leadership in the fight against AIDS. Founded in 1981, GMHC provides LGBT-affirming support services to New Yorkers living with HIV. GMHC’s mission is to keep the prevention, treatment, and cure of HIV/AIDS at the forefront of national concern and help those affected lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
