Revitalize a Garden at St. John's Place Family Center

Revitalize a Garden at St. John's Place Family Center

St. John's Place Family Center assists families to achieve self sufficiency. Founded in 1990 by Settlement Housing Fund, St. John’s Place Family Center, works as an alternative to welfare hotels. Located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, the Center provides temporary housing, day care, infant care, and other services to 97 families at a time, assisting them in their search for employment and affordable housing.

They are currently seeking volunteers to help revitalize their community garden. Volunteers would assist with garden clean up, laying mulch/soil/woodchips, and painting community benches. The project would be on Saturday, April 7, and timing will be dependent on volunteer availability.
