Read and Make Art with Kids

Spend an evening combining creativity and literacy with kids. While their moms attend CCF meetings on their pathway to higher education, you’ll engage the kids in reading and creative activities. There may be children with special needs accommodations.

Established in 2000, College & Community Fellowship (CCF) is an organization which addresses the educational, community, and organizational needs of formerly incarcerated women.  CCF provides long-term opportunities for educational accomplishment, professional development, self-advocacy, public leadership, and civic participation. They offer services such as: assistance with filing school and financial aid applications; academic and financial aid counseling; stipends; tutoring and mentoring services; and opportunities for leadership development. CCF has been supporting their clients in earning their associates and doctoral degrees.
