Paint The Gym of A Local Community Center

The mission of Mosholu Montefiore Community Center MMCC is to improve the lives of Bronx and Manhattan residents with their dedication to humanitarian efforts; reaching out to a rich tapestry of cultures, building gateways to success through quality service and programs, building confidence, sustainability and working toward self-sufficiency for the individuals they serve.

WHAT: MMCC's gymnasium is being renovated and is in need of volunteer support; volunteers are needed to help repaint and recreate their community gymnasium walls. Volunteers will assist the maintenance team with painting the gymnasium, fostering an optimistic environment of kindness, community, mutual respect, and effective communication with all guests, staff, and volunteers, and helping to improve the upkeep of facilities for community members to enjoy. Lunch will be provided!

Qualifications:
-Must be dependable and punctual
-Someone with experience of/qualification working in a trade or maintenance profession
-A good team member, working and communicating well with others
-Common sense and initiative
-Attention to detail
-Must be 16+ years old to apply
- All volunteers must participate in an orientation session and a background check
