Organize the Brooklyn Public Library - Clinton Hill Branch

Provide much needed support to one of Clinton Hill's most important community hubs! Sort and shelve books, prepare reserve items, weed out old circulations, and organize the Children's section.

All volunteers must be comfortable with alphabetization, bending, stretching, and light lifting. Volunteers must be aged 18+.

Volunteers new to Brooklyn Public Library will need to fill out a BPL waiver form at the time of service.

The Clinton Hill Library was built in 1973 to meet the needs of a vibrant and diverse community. It is a single-story building set in a leafy landmarked neighborhood of brownstones, schools and daycare facilities. Children’s programs at Clinton Hill are very popular, and are well-attended by the community, and their adult programs include resume writing, yoga, dance fitness, and loom knitting.
