Meal Service at Momentum AIDS Project

Provide men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS with hot meals, pantry bags, and support services in a communal, neighborhood setting. Volunteers will serve meals and pass out pantry bags to clients in the Bronx.

Volunteers should:
• be able to work on their feet for the duration of the project (3 hours)
• be able to handle medium to heavy lifting (20-30 lbs)


BOOM!Health, founded in 2013 as a merger of CitiWide Harm Reducation and Bronx AIDS Services, adding The Momentum Project in 2014, is a Bronx-based organization delivering a full range of prevention, syringe access, health coordination, behavioral health, housing, legal, advocacy, and wellness services to over 8,000 of the hardest to reach communities in the Bronx, New York. BOOM!Health strengthens efforts to remove barriers to accessing medical care, with particular emphasis on HIV and viral hepatitis prevention and care services.
