Lunch Meal Service at Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC)

Lunch Meal Service at Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC)

Help provide nutritious homemade meals to HIV/AIDS affected individuals as part of the GMHC community. Volunteers will serve food, assist guests to their seats, bus tables, assist with dining hall and kitchen cleanup, and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all. Volunteers are encouraged to eat lunch with the clients.

Volunteers should be prepared to:
•work on their feet for the duration of the project (3.5 hours)
•handle light to medium lifting (10-20 lbs)
•engage directly with clients
