Hurricane Ida clean-up: sign-up to receive updates on potential projects

We've all seen the images of the massive flooding that occurred as Hurricane Ida passed through the NYC region. NYC Emergency Management is currently assessing community needs for homes that were flooded by the storm. There may be a need for volunteers to help with clean up and potentially help staff service centers to support those affected.

If you are interested in supporting clean-up efforts, sign-up, and we will alert you as projects are put together.

Partner

New York Cares responds to our city's most pressing by working with social service agencies, schools, homeless shelters, and other deserving organizations to mobilize teams of volunteers to support their work. Volunteers tutor children, work in food pantries and soup kitchens, provide free tax preparation, revitalize parks and gardens, and much more.
