Become a Social Engagement Facilitator

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

WHAT: Become a Social Engagement Facilitator and facilitate a cycle of 6 classes based on your skill set such as Art Classes, Music Classes, Writing Classes, Mindfulness, Chair Yoga, Photography, or any other social activity that could be catered to a population with cognitive impairment.

REQUIREMENTS: Commitment to a 1-year term. Orientation for the role includes: online welcome, orientation self-study , virtual in-person training with local chapter staff. Observation/Shadowing. Background check. Participate in initial and ongoing training about Alzheimer’s and related dementia, and the organization. Complete paperwork requirements of your volunteer role
