17th Annual Drums Along the Hudson with Lotus Music & Dance

The mission of Lotus Music and Dance is to keep alive and accessible the music and dance traditions of all world cultures. They remain the only institution of its kind in New York City, with master artists from India, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, the South Pacific, Middle East, the Mohawk Nation, West Africa, and Spain collectively preserving their traditional arts.

They are currently seeking volunteers for the 17th Annual Drums Along the Hudson, a multicultural event held at Inwood Park on 218th Street and Indian Road (4 blocks from Broadway), on Sunday, June 23. Volunteers can assist participants, vendors, and events throughout the day in various shifts between 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
