What is New York Cares Day Spring?

New York Cares Day Spring is a city-wide day of service that brings together over 4,000 New Yorkers and celebrates the power of volunteers. With over 3,000 volunteers revitalizing the public spaces that our neighbors use to exercise, explore nature, and grow fruit and vegetables and 1,000 volunteers participating in ongoing community programs, volunteers demonstrate the difference one day can make.

The event also serves as a fundraiser to support New York Cares year-round programming. To learn more about how our volunteers impact the community throughout the year, click here.
