How does fundraising for New York Cares Day Fall work?

As New York Cares' largest fundraiser, we are relying on you to build a brighter future for New York City students. Instead of a fee, we ask that every participant reaches a fundraising goal of $100. Your efforts support both the work we do in 70 schools on October 17th, as well as on the thousands of volunteer projects that New York Cares facilitates, particularly our high-impact services geared toward improving educational outcomes for our city's kids.

When you register, you will create your own webpage that allows you to email family, friends, and coworkers a direct link to your donation page and keeps track of how much money you've raised. People can also donate by clicking "Sponsor Volunteer" and entering your name. For fundraising tips, please browse our toolkit.
