New York Cares, the city’s leading volunteer management organization, seeks a results-driven intern to support its Corporate Relations team for the fall of 2019. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in corporate social responsibility corporate, foundation, and government fundraising, volunteerism, project management, and making a positive impact on New York City.
The Corporate Relations Intern will work closely with many of the city’s top corporations to complete service projects in the field, liaising with foundation and government funders, and developing strong administrative skills in the office.
The Corporate Relations team creates and manages corporate service programs for approximately 150 corporate sponsors on over 700 projects throughout the year. The Corporate Relations Intern will report to a Corporate Service Manager and support the department by staffing corporate service projects throughout the city, researching and supporting relationships with foundation and government funders, and executing critical administrative tasks.

We are looking for an intern who can commit to a regular schedule of approximately 10-20 hours a week starting in mid-September. An unlimited use MetroCard for the NYC MTA transit system will be provided.
This is an unpaid position, but the intern will be provided an unlimited use NYC MTA MetroCard. You will also gain invaluable resume experience at a well-known NYC nonprofit! This internship can be completed for academic credit.
