Feed Kids in Need Over the Summer

While kids across the country are celebrating the end of the school year, many parents are wondering how they'll keep them fed over the summer break. About 21.4 million children receive free or reduced-price lunches at school, according to a recent article. That means many parents and guardians in our country will have trouble making ends meet for two and a half months while school is out. But there are resources.

Local food banks, Feeding America, and local nonprofits are all helping to fill the gap. You can lend a hand here in New York through our Snacktivities program. All summer long you can provide kids with healthy snacks, and keep them busy by leading fun activities.

Every little bit helps for a family in need. There are many ways you can keep kids healthy this summer, or feed our citizens. sign up for a project today.
