50,000 for New York City Campaign
To support Mayor Bloomberg's blueprint for increased volunteerism, NYC Service, New York Cares launched a campaign in April 2009 to mobilize 50,000 New York Cares volunteers to strengthen our city in the next year.
50,000 for New York City kicked off during National Volunteer Week 2009 with New York Cares' largest-ever new volunteer orientation in Council Chambers at City Hall and runs through April 2010. Learn more about the campaign here.
